Christine DiMuzio Sorochen, Esq. Lectured to Workers
Compensation Attorneys at a Seminar on December 6, 2011
Christine DiMuzio Sorochen, Esq. lectured to workers compensation attorneys at a seminar held at Caesar’s Atlantic City, on December 6, 2011. Christine discussed advanced litigation techniques used to prove work related injuries in workers’ compensation court. She analyzed the factual, medical and legal evidence necessary to develop trial tactics and techniques. Christine explained the variables used to evaluate the plausibility of a claim, which must be undertaken on a case-by-case basis. She also elaborated on two reported cases won by Hoffman DiMuzio (Brunell v. Wildwood Crest, 176 N.J. (2003) and Sexton v. Cumberland Manor, 404 N.J. Super. 542 (App. Div. 2009)). These cases, which she argued successfully before the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the Appellate Division, respectively, illustrated how to achieve favorable outcomes in heavily contested matters.
