“Professionalism in the Law” Lecture
In October, Ernie Alvino presented a “Professionalism in the Law” lecture to Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem county judges and lawyers as part of the first ever state-wide Professionalism Day. The discussion focused on the need for attorneys and judges to act with respect and courtesy toward clients and each other and uphold the highest standards in the profession. Ernie spoke at the invitation of Vicinage 15 Assignment Judge Georgia Curio. The lecture included a PowerPoint presentation and lively discussion among judges and members of the Bar.
Ernie is a long-time member and former Chairperson of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s District IV Ethics Committee. He frequently lectures on a variety of topics, including professionalism in the law. As the head of Hoffman DiMuzio’s Catastrophic Injury and Medical Malpractice Department, Ernie concentrates his practice on representing severely injured victims.
