PRESS RELEASE: Hoffman DiMuzio Attorney Christine DiMuzio-Sorochen now Certified Workers’ Compensation Law Attorney under N.J. Supreme Court Rules
April 3, 2019
Woodbury, NJ
For Immediate Release
The Law Office of Hoffman DiMuzio is pleased to announce that Christine DiMuzio-Sorochen, Esq., has earned the title of Certified Workers’ Compensation Law Attorney. The honor is conferred by the New Jersey Board on Attorney Certification, after verifying compliance with standards promulgated by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Christine submitted voluminous documentation of her 20 years’ experience representing workers in New Jersey Workers’ Compensation courts. The certification rules required Christine to prove that she:
- has been a member in good standing of the N.J. Bar for more than 5 years
- has fulfilled annual, continuing legal education requirements
- has demonstrated a high level of experience in workers’ compensation law
- has been favorably evaluated by attorneys and judges familiar with her work
After Christine successfully completed a rigorous test of competency administered by the Board, she garnered the rare certification. As reported by the Supreme Court in December 2016, only 2% of the 75,000 attorneys in the state hold Board Certifications in a concentrated field of legal practice. Of that 2%, only 121 are Certified Workers’ Compensation Attorneys and less than 35% of them represent workers.
Christine has devoted her career to representing hard-working people in South Jersey who incurred the misfortune of having a work-related injury or suffering from an occupational disease.
On behalf of its senior partners, fellow attorneys, staff, and our clients, both past and present, Hoffman DiMuzio proudly congratulates Christine on reaching the rare milestone of being granted certification in the field of workers’ compensation legal practice.
