About Anooshay Asim

Ms. Anooshay Asim is a family law attorney with The Law Offices of Hoffman DiMuzio. Her practice is focused on divorce and child custody matters. Prior to joining Hoffman DiMuzio, Ms. Asim was an avid traveler and had even lived in numerous cities across the United States as well as internationally. Her multi-cultural exposure and thirst for knowledge has afforded Ms. Asim a tremendous amount of perspective and life experience, both of which she utilizes in her professional career to this very day.

Ms. Asim’s philosophy regarding the practice of law is client-centered. She is compassionate, receptive, and willing to listen patiently in order to fully understand the unique details surrounding the client’s legal matter. Then, she looks to implement tried-and-true legal strategies coupled with clever and innovative tactics to help ensure the best possible outcome for those she represents.

Personal Background

Anooshay was born in Islamabad, Pakistan. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Chicago where she spent most of her childhood. In her teens, Anooshay moved to Tampa, Florida to attend High School. After graduating, she attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she received a B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology with a minor in International Studies and Global Commerce.

In 2021 she earned her Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law. After law school, Ms. Asim moved from New Orleans to Texas, where she gained a wealth of legal experience as a law clerk for a prominent family law firm in Texas. Most recently, Ms. Asim moved to New Jersey to begin her law career at Hoffman Dimuzio.

“Hoffman DiMuzio really stood out to me because of how much experience each of the attorneys have and the firm-wide camaraderie that exists between the entire staff,” Ms. Asim said, also adding that “the thing that excites me most, though, is the compassion and empathy shown to the clients… that resonates with me on a very deep level. Helping people is the reason I wanted to become an attorney.”
